Approaching its centenary year, this charming 1926 Jowett Long Two is a wonderfully characterful piece of British motoring history. First registered in Birmingham on 3rd September 1926, it spent decades in Scotland before entering its current custodianship, and it presents as a well-kept, usable and enjoyable vintage car with genuine history to match.

It was first registered in Birmingham before moving to Strachur in Argyllshire, where it remained until recently. A period of single ownership from 1982 saw the car restored during the 1980s, and it has clearly been cared for sympathetically since. An interesting history folder accompanies the car, including bills dating back to 1933, an original Instruction Book, a Zenith carburettor booklet, and a collection of technical information. The Jowett Car Club supports these cars well with an extensive parts supply, and this example is said to be capable of acquitting itself well in driving tests and trials.
